There is a special day that raises international awareness of the fight against childhood cancer: February 15th International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year, KA\u00c7UV carries out awareness projects on the week of February 15th to raise awareness of childhood cancer. Our essential goal is to raise public awareness about childhood cancer and the importance of early diagnosis and inform healthy individuals about the symptoms of cancer and prevention methods. \u00c7ocukluk \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 kanserleri t\u00fcm kanserlerin % 1\u2019ini olu\u015fturur. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde geli\u015fmi\u015f \u00fclkelerde her 900 eri\u015fkinden biri \u00e7ocukluk \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 kanseri ge\u00e7irmi\u015f ve kurtulmu\u015ftur. Y\u0131lda 350 bin \u00e7ocuk (15 ya\u015f alt\u0131) d\u00fcnyada, yakla\u015f\u0131k 3.500 \u00e7ocuk ise T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de yeni tan\u0131 alarak kanser tedavisi g\u00f6rmektedir. D\u00fcnyada her y\u0131l olu\u015fan kanserlerin %2 ve 4\u2019\u00fc 19 ya\u015f alt\u0131 ya\u015f grubunda geli\u015fmektedir.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye ve d\u00fcnyada \u00e7ocukluk \u00e7a\u011f\u0131nda g\u00f6r\u00fclen kanserlerin % 30\u2019unu l\u00f6semiler olu\u015fturur. Kanser s\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u00fclkemizde ikinci s\u0131rada lenf bezi kanserleri (Hodgkin ve Hodgkin-d\u0131\u015f\u0131 lenfoma) yer almaktad\u0131r. Kanser tan\u0131 ve tedavisinde kaydedilen \u00f6nemli geli\u015fmeler ile g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde \u00e7ocukluk \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 kanserlerinin erken tan\u0131 alan olgularda sa\u011f kal\u0131m oranlar\u0131n\u0131n anlaml\u0131 olarak y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu da ayr\u0131ca bilinmektedir. Bu t\u00fcr hastalar\u0131n erken tan\u0131 alabilmeleri, bu konuda e\u011fitimin yayg\u0131nla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ile m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olabilmektedir.
