Our History and Goals<\/h4>

The Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KA\u00c7UV) was established in 2000 by the doctors and the families of the children who receive treatment. KA\u00c7UV provides services with the Family Houses where children and their families can stay free of charge during the children\u2019s treatment processes. The foundation carries out various activities and projects that will increase the children\u2019s quality of life in terms of psychological, social, physical and medical aspects in the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Services of the hospitals and Family Houses. The activities that were initiated in the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Service of the Cerrahpa\u015fa Medical Faculty are still carried out in 15 services of 12 hospitals in \u0130stanbul, Bursa, \u0130zmir and Zonguldak.<\/p> <\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row heading_color=”primary-1″ bg_type=”color” padding_top_multiplier=”2x” padding_bottom_multiplier=”2x” bg_color=”#f8f8fb”][vc_column]

Our vision is forming a health capacity that is designed to answer the demands and necessities of childhood cancer, that offers physical and medical conditions to which all children can have access and provides psychological and social needs brought about by the treatment processes.<\/p> <\/div><\/div>

\u2022 Providing the needs that will increase the physical and medical quality of life for the children, their families and their close ones,
\n\u2022 Carrying out psychological and social activities that supports the treatment processes of children,
\n\u2022 Protecting the children\u2019s right to education during the treatment processes.
\n\u2022 Parental awareness through trainings,
\n\u2022 Ensuring the family unity and the continuity of treatment through Family Houses supports,
\n\u2022 Ensuring the motivation of healthcare providers which is an important factor in the treatment process,
\n\u2022 Carrying out awareness projects for healthy individuals and prevention projects for public health. <\/p> <\/div><\/div>
